Wire Nails – A New Trend in Nail Art

While Paris and Milan dictate global fashion, the most important worldwide nail trends, such as those involving wire nails, are created by Eun Kyung Park in her Seoul salon.

She introduced #brokenglassnails, minimalist geometry, and “bracelet nails” into fashion.

Now, the hottest craze among South Korean fashionistas is Wired Nails, or nails made of wire.

This design is unique and created individually for each client. First, the pattern itself is made from thin gold wire, then it is fixed onto the nail with transparent gel polish. After that, the gel must be allowed to dry, and another layer of transparent gel polish is applied on top to secure the construction. Special attention should be paid to firmly fastening the edges of the wire so it doesn’t catch on clothing. Wire nails look weightless and very futuristic.
