Re[Sens] unveiled a new biology of beauty at a press brunch in the Kanapa restaurant
Re[Sens]: the first Ukrainian sustainable professional cosmetics brand gathered a premium circle of media and experts in Kyiv.
On September 23, the Kanapa restaurant became a space for an inspiring conversation about the future of beauty. Re[Sens], the first and only sustainable professional cosmetics brand in Ukraine, invited top glossy media journalists, influencers, and cosmetologists to an intimate press brunch to share its philosophy and new achievements.
The founders of the brand — Yuliia Polyakova (University of Cambridge, co-founder of the human rights project We are from Ukraine), Olha Guzhyk (eco-activist, lecturer, University of Cambridge alumna), and Julia Gagarina (chemist with 20 years of formulation experience) — presented the concept “slow is the new smart.” It is a vision of beauty as a process that sustains balance rather than a race for quick results.
Re[Sens] focuses on formula innovations: exosomes as a revolutionary tool for cellular communication, microbiome-friendly preservation, intelligent peels 2.0, and amino acid–based cleansing. The focus is not on fighting wrinkles but on overcoming inflammation as the main trigger of aging. The discussion also touched on the challenges of urban life, the role of stress in skin condition, and sensitivity as a new strength.
In less than a year, Re[Sens] entered five international markets (the United Kingdom, Spain, and others) and has already received global recognition: the Innovation Award 2025 in London, The Aesthetics Awards in the Best New Innovative Product category, and the Green Award, Édition Spéciale by LUXE PACK in Paris. Elle Japan recognized Re[Sens] as the best Ukrainian brand to appear on the global stage.
The press brunch in Kyiv was not only a presentation but also a confirmation that Ukrainian brands can shape global beauty standards while staying true to their values and cultural roots.
